The Louis Hotel might be a nice alternative (http://www.louis-hotel.com) Its nicely located at Viktualienmarkt in the middle of the city. You can also check out the Cortiina (http://www.cortiina.com). Its run by the same owners as the Louis and the location is also superb.

I still have rooms available with a special rate at Bayrischer Hof (240.- euro per room/night). We have the brunch here on Sunday. Let me know - if you share a room it's less expensive - thought for the day, try to make match making :)
