Only been once and stayed at the Danieli. Great location as everything is close by and you can walk. Though boat trips are a must, best being from and to the airport as they can speed out side the City. We also did a gondola ride but would recommend to take one from Campo S. Anzolo because the majority of the route you're actually alone whereas the other spots all were crowded with tourists with one gondola after creating a traffic jam, which to me would ruin the experience. Restaurants: La Terrazza, which is the rooftop restaurant of the Danieli (stunning view) Antique Carampane (nice little seefood place away from the tourist routes) Harry's bar (though I feel it's overrated/hyped) Cip's Club and Bar Longhi at the Gritti i heard are good but we didnt have time to go
