... one of those questions that seduce to be answered... So many things to say about wisdom - and still not being sure at all. How to chose the spicy and significant attributes for wisdom as a wise person is a big package not to reveal. What comes out to my mind TODAY (it will change for sure), a wise person is somebody who is sincere and true to himself/herself. Therefore authentic. Somebody who never stops reflecting about his/her and others' actions, thoughts. Who is aware, awake, living in the here and now (and then and beyond as well). Capable of self-irony. A caring person. Among the ones I have met and consider to be wise, besides the above mentioned observations I made, they all had something very humble about themselves. Therefore easy to see them as so-called role-models...

Hi Joanna, your comment makes me think that perhaps the older we get the harder it is to be wise. Is it always unwise to act on impulse if that is the authentic sum of your instinct?
